Add a submitted testimonial to a Video Studio project, or save a copy in the Media Library. The copy is a separate file. Deleting the original recording or the testimonial request does not remove it.
Recordings appear only after upload and processing finish. See Recording a Testimonial.
Add recordings from the testimonial
- Open the Media Library.
- Under Video Studio, select Testimonials.
- Open the testimonial.
- Hover over a recording.
Choose one of these actions:
- Add to Media Library saves a copy in the main Media Library folder
- Edit in Video Studio creates a new project, adds the recording to that project's assets, and opens the project
- Delete removes the recording from the testimonial
You can select more than one recording and use the same actions. Edit in Video Studio adds every selected recording to the new project.
Click a recording to open the video preview and its details. The details show dimensions, file size, duration, the contributor's name and email, the file type, and the date it was sent.
Delete removes the recording from the testimonial only. Copies already added to a Video Studio project or the Media Library stay in place.
Add recordings inside a project
- Open the Video Studio project.
- In Assets, click Add Media.
- Select Testimonials.
- Search by testimonial name, or filter by status and by whether the testimonial has recordings.
- Open a testimonial. Search its recordings by the contributor's name or email.
- Select one or more recordings, then click Add.
The recordings are added to the project's assets. Drag a recording onto the timeline the same way you add any other asset. For the rest of the edit, see Getting Started with Video Studio.
If the account has no testimonials, the window shows the same empty state as the Testimonials page, with New Request. If the testimonial has no recordings yet, the window says that no recordings have been submitted.
Add recordings from the Media Library
- Open Media Files.
- Click Add Media.
- Select Testimonials.
- Select one or more recordings, then click Add.
Each recording is saved as its own file in the Media Library. You can reuse it the same way you reuse any other library file.
To create the request and collect recordings, see Creating a Testimonial Request.
