Remove a social profile from Oktopost when you no longer need to publish from that account or page. Deleting a profile is permanent and removes future scheduled posts tied to that profile.
Before You Delete a Profile
- If the profile is disconnected but you still need it, reconnect it instead of deleting it.
- Deleting a profile removes all future posts scheduled with that profile.
- Deleting a profile does not delete content already published to the social network.
How to Remove a Social Profile
- Go to Setup > General > Social Profiles.
- Hover over the profile you want to remove.
- Click Delete Profile.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deleting a profile also removes all future posts that you scheduled with it. This action cannot be undone from Oktopost.
After You Delete a Profile
The profile no longer appears in your Social Profiles list. To use the account again in Oktopost, connect it as a new profile with Connect a Profile.
To revoke Oktopost's access on the social network without deleting the profile in Oktopost first, remove Oktopost from the network's connected apps or integrations settings, then delete or reconnect the profile in Oktopost as needed.
