Managing Video Studio Projects

Save your work as Video Studio projects so you can return to an edit, reuse settings across videos, and manage versions for your account. If you are new to Video Studio, start with Getting Started with Video Studio.

Save a Project

1. Edit your video in Video Studio.
2. Click Save Project in the editor footer.

Your timeline, captions, text, transitions, and project settings are saved to the project. You can close the editor and reopen the project later from the Media Library or the Projects tab inside the editor.

Rename a Project

1. In the editor header, click the project name to edit it inline
   or
2. Click More options next to the project name and select Edit name.
3. Enter the new name and confirm.

Duplicate a Project

1. Click More options next to the project name in the editor header.
2. Click Duplicate.
3. Enter a name for the copy.
4. Click Duplicate to confirm.

Duplicating creates a separate project with the same configuration. Use this when you want to publish the same video in multiple aspect ratios or versions.

Delete a Project

1. Click More options next to the project name in the editor header.
2. Click Delete.
3. Confirm in the Delete Project? dialog.

Apply a Saved Project Inside the Editor

Use the Projects tab in the left sidebar to insert configuration from another saved project into your current edit.

1. Open the Projects tab.
2. Browse or search for a saved project.
3. Click a project to insert its content into the current timeline.

Inserted content includes clips and related settings from the selected project. If some assets or fonts are unavailable, Video Studio skips them and shows a notification.
