Viewing Competitor Ads in Marketing Intelligence

The Ads section in Marketing Intelligence lets you monitor your competitors' advertising strategies on Google Ads. This feature gives you an inside look at their creative assets, helping you understand their messaging, call-to-actions, and campaign frequency. Use these insights to inform your own strategies and stay competitive.

Accessing the Ads Section

  1. Sign in to your Oktopost account.
  2. Navigate to the Marketing Intelligence section.
  3. Click on Ads in the sidebar.

Key Features & How to Use

Ad Feed

Ads are displayed in a scrollable card layout. Each card represents a unique ad creative currently running on Google Ads. The card includes:

  • Preview of the ad
  • Company running the ad
  • Date detected

Open Ad Overlay

Click on any ad card to open a detailed overlay. This overlay provides:

  • Full creative view at a larger size
  • Ad copy
  • Additional metadata, such as campaign type or creative duration (if available)

Go to Destination Page

Click the ad's Call to Action button to visit the destination page the ad links to. This could be a landing page, product detail page, or promotional site — useful for understanding conversion strategies.

Using Filters

Use filters at the top of the Ads section to refine results by Company or Date Range. This helps isolate activity over time or focus on a specific competitor’s advertising behavior.

Ask AI for Ads Analysis

To gain deeper insights:

  1. Click the Ask AI button at the top of the Ads section.
  2. Choose from smart analysis options to review competitor ad performance and strategies.

These features offer a comprehensive view of competitor ad strategies, allowing you to learn, adapt, and improve your own campaigns.
